The Wing in flight above mountains

The path from vision to reality is almost always long, and filled with challenges, which one must triumph over and succeed in order to realise success. It takes hard work and sacrifice, disappointments and heartache.

As with most new concepts, one always has a very few believers - some of whom also are believers only because they are one's friends and not because they believe that one can succeed.

One also has far more sceptics, or people who dismiss the attempt as something which is impossible.

And so, I began my journey, using my own resources and the help - freely given - of true friends and supporters - who have helped me every step of the way, at often great personal cost to themselves in time, effort and sometimes expense.

Making a WingSlowly, and working after hours, first in garages and in friends workshops, without any equipment, machinery or funding from outside corporations, I and my small group of supporters built and rebuilt, tested and re-tested, developed and refined, through long days and even longer night, over the months and years.

Through various prototypes, each one better than the last, and using my knowledge as a pilot and mechanic and the advice and input of those few friends and supporters, I gradually perfected the flying machine - known now as the jet-wing - and the method to fly and control it in the air.

I have flown many flights with these jet-wings. Through the valleys between the high Swiss Alps, over land and over sea; and now - in my longest challenge to date - over the Atlantic Ocean.

My vision is now a reality - undeniably so. A reality which combines the advantage of some machinery combined with the joy of free flight, and which enables mankind to transcend its self-imposed limitations and become one with nature while in the air.
