My name is Yves Rossy, and I am the Webtel.mobi Challenger.

Webtel.mobi approached me with the Challenge to cross the North Atlantic Ocean on their behalf, to physically demonstrate an innovative and unique way of connecting the continents, just as their mobile phone service connects the world in an innovative and unique way.

I accepted their Challenge after thinking it over carefully with my colleagues and advisors, because I do not accept every challenge that I receive. After review, and as their philosophy and methods of Webtel.mobi are similar in many respects to my own, I accepted their Challenge, and on 25 November 2009 I will make the attempt to cross the North Atlantic Ocean for the first time by Jet-wing, as Webtel.mobi Challenger - Challenger 1.

This website is placed on the Webtel.mobi Challenge website in order to tell the world a little bit more about the background of jet-wing flying, and how I would like to make this a sport available to all people.

On the next pages I will give you a background on how I became involved in jet-wing flying, what my plans are to make it available to all people, and how you could play a part in turning this vision into a reality.
